Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Why not take your group on a two hour trip on a motorised canal boat which will carry you through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805. This World Heritage Site is the country’s biggest aqueduct towering a massive 156ft above the River Dee.
The motor narrowboat is fully weather proof, centrally heated with comfortable seats and excellent views from every table. There is an informative live commentary on board plus light refreshments. Aqueduct Cruises are only released for bookings 2 weeks prior to the trip.
