Re-live the days of Victorian Opulence at Penrhyn Castle
Built by the Pennant family whose fortune came from sugar and slate is well worth a visit. You can re-live the Victorian opulence in the lavishly furnished rooms hung with dazzling silks and hand-painted Chinese wallpaper and paintings by Rembrandt, Canaletto and Gainsborough.
Discover life below stairs in the Victorian kitchens as you imagine the sights and smells as staff prepare for yet another banquet.
There is a fascinating Industrial Railway Museum with restored steam engines, beautiful grounds to explore and even a tearoom to enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea!
